in 1996, a nevada judge awarded my child about $20,000 after a dogbite he received while visiting my father in california. the award stated that the money was to be placed in a trust fund for my child.

my ex-husband, who had custody at the time, removed the signed approval order from the judge's office without the judge's knowleged. he took the approval order to the insurance company and received a check for the entire amount. he did not place the money in a trust, but spent the money for his and wife's personal use.

i now have custody of the child and became aware of the judgement:

1. is there anyway to get the money back (with interest)and put into a trust fund for my child?

2. can any money be collected from the second wife who is now divorced from my ex-husband?
