What is the name of your state? nevada

hi all, my girlfriend and i are both texas residents living in las vegas. we're thinking about getting married but are wondering what effects getting married has on one's credit, etc. basically the question is this: does a person's credit before the marriage affect the other person's credit after the two are married. and then, how is your credit affected once you are married? (say one of you gets a new credit card or something after you're married?)
