Question

Not sure where to post but does do with family?

Massachusetts

when i married my husband he had two children, he has recently stopped paying child support as they are of age and out of college now. when his son went to college my husband took out a loan to get him a car, my husband put this in his name as his son had no credit. his son is now 22 and my husband is still paying the loan. i have asked him to please get a new loan with his sons name on it as i am afraid if something happens to my husband then the loan will fall to me because we are married and i will have to take over paying for a brand new car which i know i can't afford if my husband were to pass away. his health has not been well lately. the loan still has 3 more years to go on it. thank you in advance. barto

My Question

Sorry, new at this,
if my husband passes away am I responsible for his sons loan that my husband took out in his name only. his son's name does not appear on the loan at all.
