Not sure where to put this

What is the name of your state? LA

My nephew and his GF forged a document to have his sisters BF put out of a rental home.

On the lease is their Father, the sister and a younger brother.

The father has many health issues and DOES NOT live in the home. He and the younger brother live with my mother.

A huge family fight went down, and the sister left (was temporary to let things cool off). Her BF stayed in the home, because of his job.

The boyfriend left the home that night and stayed with a friend, The Brother called the cops, who told him that he would need to go to a Justice of the Peace and have a bench warrent placed on the sisters BF for allegedly hitting her. And they asked about having him evicted, and they sais that since he has established residency there ( more than 3 months, some bills are in his name) that they will have to have an order of eviction done by the Justice of the Peace.

The brother and his GF lied and had a bench warrent put on the sisters BF for allegedly hitting the brothers GF.

This is where the forgery comes in. The Father was in the hospital having a pacemaker installed, and the brothers GF, forged his name and signature on some form that was presented to a Justice of the peace who issued the eviction notice.

What if anything can be done to the brothers GF for the forgery?

The father DID NOT give permission for the eviction

I have called the JP, and left a vague message. She hasn't returned the call as of yet.

Go see the JP and make a specific complaint.

Then post back on what happened.

Can anyone make a complaint, or does it have to be the person that is effects such as the sisters BF?

In fact, you are so astonishingly correct in this matter, it will not surprise us one bit if you are offered a generous settlement, because, by golly, that’s just how it should be.

who are you in this whole mess? Obviously you have information that is pertinent to the case, not sure if it is the forgery case, or the assault case, or one of the other family wrasslin' issues, but whatever it is and whoever you are, you need to relay the information to the proper authorities. If you do not, and it is found out, then yes, you could also be in trouble.

I am the Aunt, of the brother and sister.

The JP still has not returned my call.

If I can be held liable, Should I take this information to the police?

I was at my home during the fight.

And I know the Father didnt give permission or sign, As I was at the hospital with him while he was having the pace maker installed.

And he told all 4 of them in front of me at Thanksgiving dinner that he was NOT putting any of them out. That they needed to work this out between themselves. And he was not taking sides.

And as far as the signature goes, Its not his. He has complete chicken scratch for a signature.
