Palimony

What is the name of your state? NY I have lived with my partner for 22.5 years. We have one child and own a home together. I have also claimed him as a dependant on my income taxes for the past 14 years as he was not working. He has recently moved out and is involved with someone else. Am I entitled or could I sue him for palimony?

Actually, its more likely the other way around You supported him for 14 years, therefore if anyone could sue for palimony it would be him.

However, you certainly can file for child support if you have custody of the child.
