Palimony in NV

What is the name of your state?
NV
Lived together 14 years, two children, stay at home mom. Significant other
said he'd take care of me the rest of my life and put me in his Trust to prove it. Now, we' re splitting up and he says I'm not entitled to any money earned while we were together. He's a multi-millinaire. Can I sue for palimony... can the Trust be used to show intent? Thanks for your help! What is the name of your state? NV

If you want to waste a lot of money.

Intent for what? A marriage that never existed? Unless you were 'together' since 1943 you don't have anything.

you're welcome.

I get the fact that we wern't married. The reason we never married was because I felt protected by the trust... Are you saying the state of Nevada doesn't recognize Palimony Lawsuits? We lived in California for 4 years..can I file the case there? Believe me, I'm not into wasting my money or his,
Thank you

Get a consult with a local attorney. That will give you a clearer idea of what is or isn't possible in NV.

you cannot go forum shopping. You reside in Nevada. THAT is where you need to file.

And no attorney can help you if the trust was revokable or it was conditional. The trustee still controls. So, take the contract you have to remain in the trust to any attorney you want.
