Parents devorce, and mess that follows.

South Africa.

Hi all.

My parents devorce, and my Dad agreed to pay my Mom the half share of a big property with a 8 bedroom house. My Dad wants to keep the house, and pass it on to me and my sister one day.

My Mom wants her money, and she has been waiting for over 5 years to get payment from my Dad.

Dad is scared that at this stage if he hands over His share of the house to me and my sister, my Mom will try to take it from us. But Mom wants to also pass the house on to us kids. So both parents want us kids to have the house. But they cant talk to each other about it.

Well now its a problem, because Mom just told me last night that her lawyer
is going to auction my Dad's share, to give my mom her money.

WHAT DO WE DO? Auction is in a months time!

Please help

US Law Only. So you'd need to speak with an attorney in SA.
