percentages?

What is the name of your state? ca. If I am awarded 51 % coustody, What exactly does this mean???????? Since I do have 51% does this mean I have the right to decide where my daughter goes to school as long as this does not interfere with the current coustody????? Thank you**************..Chuck

What exactly does your court order say about primary residence, physical/legal custody?
A choice of where a child goes to school is a legal custody question and there are some things to consider, too-
do you want to have the child go to a school the mom does not want the child to go to? how old is the child? is this a question of private vs public school and are there fees involved? is this a question of the child changing schools? (which should only be done in the best interest of the child-not power struggle between parents)
I guess more info is needed....
