My friend has some land and 2 horses she is going to be getting a divorce should she sell them now so the spouse does not get them or keep them and might not get them in the divorce? Can they be sold and not get into trouble before the divorce?

They are marital assets, any attempt to hide assets could be held against her. If she sells them, she should be prepared to pay atleast half of real value of them and not what she sold them for. Would she want him doing the same thing to the house? cars? bank accounts? Why does people always think it's fair for one but not the other?
