What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Illinois

I was married about one year ago. My husband and I have not agreed on many things recently and were discussing creating a Postnup agreement before we purchase a home. Can we do this on our own, get one lawyer, or do we need to get two different lawyers?

I want to be fair but I also don't want to be taken. I am the one who has the down payment.

Or continuing to be married to him. However, divorce is easier than getting out of responsibility for a home mortgage.
