My mother is 82 and worried that if she has to enter a nursing home, the home will be able to take over and sell her property to pay for her care. What can we do to stop them from getting it if she ever has to go. Can she have it put into one of her childrens names now, and if so what would be involved in keeping the cost as low as possible.
Thank you, Regards, Rj Ross. Forgot to enter my state. South Carolina.
