we were not married he has my car and i would like to have it back. all of the paper work is in my name. ialso have his car and all of the paper work is in his name. i pay on the car that he drives and he pays on the car that i drive.

My response:

From your post, I presume you were not "common law" married; that is, you did not "hold yourselves out" as being married to the general public - - or you would have said so. In fact, you made it a point to say you weren't married.

Then, in that case, and since you were not married to him, your question does not involve "Family Law". At best, it involves "contract law". Please post your question on that Board.
