A question about lawyers

What is the name of your state? MS

Just brief history, I hired an attorney Sept '02 to help me file comtempt charges and material change /custody modification.

This guy kept me hanging for a long time, first date was nov 02, the other side got a continuence, then this lingered forever, my guy ffinally filed a new "request for recuse" may '03 after he told me he would do this the first time in March 03

Ok I dismissed him, a little late I guess,


Ok Attorney #2 was ok but this is "good Ole Boy" town and it was obvious our first day in court for the recuse thing that he was not one of them. Anyway I stayed with hime but he told me that he took a job out of town 30 days after I hired him so I had to get new attorney.

My Court date for the custody was set for aug 15, later I found out #14 on the docket Ha!!!

Anyway my new attorney said no way would he be ready on the 15th and we wouldnt get heard anyway, so he was going to discuss with the other side about a mutually agreed upon date and call me MOnday, Well now it is Wednesday, no call , I have called everyday. What do I do? can these attorneys keep me dangling forever?
