Question for I AM ALWAYS LIABLE

I'm coming to you since you were so helpful with my last problem. So, here's my new one.

My son's biological father wants to terminate his rights, and let my husband adopt him. I called my county Att. who told me this was a process that took months and thousands of dollars. Every other lawyer that I have spoken with makes it sound easy. This would be uncontested by the biodad. Uncontested by everyone involved. So**************. the truth please. How hard will this be?

Thx for your time,
Brittony

My response:

Since your initial post concerned U.S. Supreme Court law, I didn't need your State name. Now, I do.

Always, in each of your posts and responses, mention your State name, and the names of all other States that may be affected, if applicable.

Thanks.

Sorry, I didn't think about that. Ky************** it's a common wealth so many of the laws are different.

My response:

Other than what you mentioned in your initial post, you didn't mention what other research on the Internet you have done. So, assuming you haven't done any, the following appears to be quite informative and a very good first step in your direction - -

Good luck to all of you.
