Recovering debt from ex-wife

What is the name of your state? Washington

My ex wife borrowed $5,000 from my g-parents over a year ago, without my knowledge. She clearly acknowledges it as hers and took the debt in the divorce. She has made several changes to the payment start date but has not made any payments. Can I pay off the loan and then collect from her??? She forged my signature on the documents and only told me of the money after it was spent. I never saw any of it.

Mortgage companies can "buy" loans. Can I? She has a house with good equity and 5 acres of property paid off $55,000. How do I get the money back from her. A lien on the house and property would suffice.
Any ideas????
