Husband had an affair. Woman claims to be pregnant, but offers no proof or visible signs after five months. She's married and has claimed to others the child is her husbands. She's verbally abusive, calling and threatening our family, sending letters, causing problems on the job, etc. Today she called and said her attorney was drawing up papers for my husband to relenquish his parental rights.
I'd like to know if that's possible considering there's no proof of pregnancy or proof that the child (if there is one) is in fact my husbands. If the papers are drawn up is it wise to sign them without knowing these facts? Is this the type of thing that would come back to haunt us later?
Thank you for your help. |
