Remarriage debt

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Oklahoma
The man I am marrying has $100000 debt from previous marriage. If he dies after we marry who is responsible for that debt?
We each have older children by previous marriages. He has a home mortgage and I have a home mortgage. We will reside in my home and rent his.
Appreciate your helpWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

If he dies, his estate will be responsible for his debt. I would recommend keeping your finances separate.

Which means no joint ownership of ANYTHING at all, and no joint accounts of any kind, whether they are bank accounts, credit cards or anything else.
