What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TX

What are the steps and/or what is the process by which a ward (adult) can restore his competency and remove a guardian (his mother)? Individual was declared incompetent 3 months ago and submitted a letter a month ago to the judge asking to restore competency. He's been appointed a GAL and Attorney Ad Litem so far.

The same people who post on the other forum where you asked about this, also post on this forum...so there won't be any new answers.
