I'm also in Indiana and had a restraining order on my now ex husband. Have you gone to your hearing yet on it? If not when you go there you can ask the judge to drop it then. Otherwise contact the courthouse and ask them to see about a hearing on it.

Dont do it man......

Once you go the route of having a restraining order you cant go back....

There are somethings in life that there is absolutly NO EXCUSE for, and for somone to be that HORRIBLE to you, that you need to get a restraining order....then keep it there.

The sex aint gonna be that good ever again, and next time she might really hurt you real bad.

so do you feel lucky?

If it was a temporary restraining order issued as part of the dissolution proceedings, you will have a hearing on the issue of whether it should be made permanent.

When you go to the hearing, you can request that it be dismissed.

Or if you do not go to the hearing on the restraining order, it most likely would be dismissed in your absence.

Generally, the court will put some kind of deadline on a restraining order, often that it will end as of the date of the dissolution being granted.

Hope this helps answer your question.
