My exboyfriend whom I have a restraining order against is taking me to court for the home that we lived in together. I have my own attorney. My ex-boyfriend has decided to represent himself as his own attorney. Will he have the right to put me on the stand even though the restraining order is in place? The thought of him interrogating me scares me to death. Is there anything I can do? Help!!
Thank you,

My response: You should really talk to your attorney about this, who -- hopefully -- will alleviate some of your fears. Your ex has a right to ask questions. Don't leave your attorney in the dark. Tell him what you fear about questioning. Cross exam is not fun, but it's gonna happen. Here's something that might help you
(a piece of advice someone gave me once when I was going through "interrogations"). He said: "what is the worse that can happen? They can't eat you!" Think about it, and be prepared -- try not to be scared. Good luck.
