I lived with my girlfriend for 8 years in her house, we decided to breakup and she boxed up all my belongings that were in the house and put them in storage, expect for my sports car. I have tried a number of times to get a hold of her to retrieve my car but no response. What is my next step in this matter?

Where is your car?

The car is currently in the garage and she has changed out the controller so I can't get into the garage.

Well its been a week with no reply from my emails, what is the next step, get a lawyer or call the police on this matter of getting control of my car.
