The rights of grown children in regards to elderly parent's care

What is the name of your state? Mississippi

I have a question in regards to the rights of grown children in regards to the care of their elderly parent. Does the husband, a step parent, have the ultimate say in the hospital care, or can the children step in?

Unless there is a health care power of attorney giving children the right, the husband has the ultimate say in the hospital care.

Parents should remember two things: Love your kids more than you hate your ex (or soon to be ex) and when you have children the relationship with the other parent is until death parts you.
