WI. My boyfriend is currently going through an ugly divorce with regards to placement and visitation of his son. Once he is divorced, can we live together immediately (and have his son in our home during his visitation nights) or do we have to wait? Does his ex-wife have any say on who my boyfriend lives with, and, therefore, who her son lives with after the divorce and placement is determined by the court?What is the name of your state? |

There may be a provision put in that the parents cannot have anyone not related to them overnight in the home while the child is in their care and that would apply to you living with dad. In general it doesn't happen but it's not unheard of.
