A serious question requesting serious answers

What is the name of your state? Texas

From what i understarnd their in no real way to be emancipated in Texas, But we want to get married. This is not the reasoin we want lto get married but the reason that we want to get married sooner then anticipated. The nurse at the school said that she is legaly emancipated because she is 16 going on 17 and pregnant. .... Is it true that in texas over the age of fourteen pregnancy is emancipation? And does that mean she can sign here own marraige lic.? ... I do know 17 in Texas you can move out with out parent consent.... simply her mom won't sighn but we still want to get married before our child is born. <P.S. I can support a family at this point>

If you want to talk to an "actual" lawyer, then you need to contact one. They don't work online or for free. Good luck

My advice to consult a real lawyer face to face is better than none at all, which is what everyone else gave you.

Since when are school nurses legal experts? If you want legal advice - you need to speak with a lawyer. In person.

(hint - the nurse is wrong.)
