Question

settlement question

What is the name of your state? Virginia I need help. I'm divorced, have been for three years. I have one child, and I pay child support and Alimony. I was hurt in car accident and now I'm disabled. I was just awared a large settlement because of the accident. My ex is trying to find out how much, so she can get some of it. My lawyer says she can not touch it. But now she is takeing me to court, to find out how much. Her lawyer just send papers saying I have to bring documents to court next week. I'm worryed. Please help. Anyone . Is my lawyer right?
