Pennsylvania; My 15 year old son decided to move in with my parents. He refuses to come home. They say that I have to give them custody of my son so that he can attend school in their county and district and so that they can put him on their medical insurance. Is it necessary that I give them physical and legal custody of my child? I did not ask him to leave. My parents persuaded him to live with them. What if my son decides to move back home and they have custody?

No you do not have to give them custody.. and the moment you do, don't expect to get it back.. also, expect to pay Child Support to your parents. Demand that your child is returned. Call the police if you have to.
