Is spouse resp. for my med. bills?

I have medical bills for prenatal care, birth of my son and a gallbladder operation. My husband and I have a judgement against us. Is my husband responsible by law to pay? The reason I ask is because they listed him as the patient and I thought that was their way of hooking him in to be accountable. I can't seem to find out how NY laws apply to this subject. Any response would be appreciated. Thanks

Since a judgment has already been entered, both of you are on the hook for payment. The creditor can go after both of you or pick the one that has the most assets.
