You have a child who is either SED or ASD and disabled, is the learning disorder, Asperger's? You have 4 children, 1 and possibly more because these things run in families who are disabled. You are homeless and unable to care for them. Are you or the other parent disabled? Are you employed? Put this all together and how can you say the state has no case? You are not able to care for your children. Children need support in many aspects of life in addition to love. Apparently you have been given time to satabilize your life and even an attorney to assist you.

I had 30 days notice. My husband is Bi-polar and was manic. Yes I work. The 15 year old has a different biological father. WE were camping. I had called everywhere to get help SRS said they couldn't help us. I am from a small town there are no rescources. They had food, showers, clean clothes, medicines, counselors, and they were in school everyday. The day they took them my 15 year old was hearing voices and his case manager was there to take him to get screened for hospitalization. It was more important to take them in custody. The state isn't doing much better. In most cases the state does a good job but they aren't perfect either. Jesse is just behind so he has an iep. I have my hands full but I,m doing the best I can.

Does you oldest son's father know about the situation? Would he be able to help with his son? Maybe take him in or provide care for him?

As for your other children, are there other relatives that are able to take them in or gain custody of them, making so the children stay with the family? If not, I would keep on trying, work hard to prove to the court that you are able to care for them.

But right now the three younger children, are together in a home where they get food and clothes, a warm bed. In most cases like this siblings are usally seperated, because some foster families and adoptive families are unable to take all siblings in. Their lucky they all got to go to the same home. I know it is hard for you not being to be with them all the time, but at least they are together. Sometimes when things like this happens it could be years until siblings ever see each other again.

Good luck to you.
