Step Parent

What is the name of your state? INDIANA
My daughters step mom thinks she can tell me when I can see my children and when I can talk to them on the phone. She also has a bad habbit of talking badly about me' eg, (name calling);infront of them.I would like to know if this is legal and if she really has any rights to tell me what I can and cannot do with my own children. Also I would like to know if she could get in any type of trouble for signing my childrens school forms when they started school and wasn't married to their father at the time.Thank you very much,
M.L.

While it may be immature what she is doing, it is not illegal. She is not allowed to sign their school forms. Your divorce decree/visitation orders are what you should follow.

What exactly do your court orders say regarding visitation and telephone contact? Are you ordered to follow the Indiana Parenting Time Guidelines?
