| pennsylvania. my mother died and step father has refused to allow myself or my sister to have any belongings. we are not interested in money, just pictures and heirlooms, things that our grandparents gave us, but he refuses to give us even childhood pictures. he married our mother when we were very young, do we have any rights to her property or pictures of us, also pictures of her ancestors that have no interest to him. he has gotten everything, we only want some of our memories, please offer some advice, real tired of being told that we are only her children! |

What a shame! Please repost your questions on the Wills and Probate board (see Forum Jump below). Hopefully someone there will be able to assist you. Sounds like Mom didn't leave a will. Maybe this will encourage you and your sister to have yours written immediately. You said your mother married him when you were very young. Was he always this mean? |

| IAAL: "Brilliant people always think alike." Oh yes, at least I have my brain! You see, I had to abandon HG's post because LB2 and MSM were putting me to shame! |

| My response: Yikes ! That's okay, though ! I like having my jaw where it should be. You see, I have no problems with B's or C's. And brains are much better anyway. IAAL |
