Stepfather spanking stepkids? What is the name of your state? Arkansas My husband's children just told us that their step-father is spanking them, with the permission of their mother. According to the children, he's left marks on the son, but there is no proof. This man is known to be a very harsh man, and we are afraid that if we confront him, it's just going to make it harder on the kids (they live the BM and SF). My question: What should our first step be? If we make these allegations, will the children be removed from the home? |

| the only thing anyone can tell you for sure is that if you do NOT file a complaint with Children's services, the beathing will continue.

| I believe that any adult becoming aware of any child potentially in harms way has a duty to act. Fact or Fiction is irrelevant at that point. |
