Uh-Uh, no quit claim removes one from a MORTGAGE!!!!!!! it ONLY removes any ownership interest. You are very mistaken if you think that the act of quit cliaming removes one's legal financial responsiblity regarding the mortgage they entered into. ONLY the mortage lender can release you from your obligation to them.
