Suggestion of Contempt??!! HELP!!

What is the name of your state?
Florida

To make a very long story short, my Ex got the car (joint loan, both names on the title). Since the divorce was finalized over a year ago, I terminated the relationship between me and my lawyer. I got a paper in the mail the other day that was a Power of Attorney that names my Ex as the Attorney in Fact to sign me off of the title (while keeping me bound to the loan, which is not a problem because the loan value is so nil). Also in the envelope was a Notice of Hearing that states a 15 minute hearing is to be held in another city than I live in (very far away). The Petitioner (ex wife) requested this hearing in "Suggestion of Contempt" (as a threat of consequences if I don't sign??).
If I sign the POA (which I have no problem doing), does this court date go away? Her attorney has never properly communicated to me WHAT needs to be signed, or what it is for.

Thanks.
