What is the name of your state? brockton ma (usa)
does anyone know what (domestic relations summons) means?

My response:

It means that someone in the context of Family Law has a legal "beef" (a Lawsuit or Complaint) against someone else, and it commands a response from the "receiving" party in proper, legal, format.
