Is there a better way than court battle

Oklahoma
This is a very tangled web but I have gotten responses that tll me I hae a strong Common Law Marriage.
Back together sine 1994 are still living together not sure what to do.
I would much rather be able to sit at a tablewith a mediator.
Is this even a posibility?
There is enough history that I don't think he wants to give any of this
to the legal system.

You haven't given anywhere near enough information to get an answer. It would probably be in your best interest to get a consult with a local attorney where questions can be asked and answered.

You really need to be consulting with a local attorney.

The most difficult thing about seeking the advice of an attorney...
I live on SSDI at 54 y/o
Had a great Attorney from Tulsa
Got me through a PO
Has all of my facts since 1994
Prepared a Divorce Decree
Mailed it to him
The bill was so high at this point I had to stop

Could a member of your family loan you the money for the attorney? You can pay them back out of your share of the proceeds of the house.

Boy do I wish that they (my parents) would help!
We have had a very difficult relationship.
This is one avenue I am trying to persue.
I just have to stay positive and see where it goes.
Thanks

are mediators available?

Is there a place where we can take all the papers and
get a legal opinion concerning Common Law in Oklahoma.
We have been together since 1994 and the Law changed in 1998?
If we knew for sure, I say we are, He says not. Our life would
really be better if we had a definitive answer.
