Trust Fund dispersment Southern New Jersey
My friend's son is 19 y.o He has a trust fund left to him from a previous bicycle accident and a policy from a deceased grandmother. Because he is nuerologically impaired but not un able to care for him self, how long can the court appointed lawyer control his funds. He is looking to gain access to it for the purposes of preparing himself for living on his own...IE: buying a home, car, etc.
His court appointed lawyer has restricted his funds to her will and not to our opionon, his best interests. She has denied him access to his statements and all his suposed investments. He even has no access for extra clothes and personal items. She buys most things for him...IE: socks, dress shorts, etc.
Is he allowed to view his statements? Does he a right to a review from some idependent sourse? When should his money be dispersed for future major living expenses? |
