under age marriage

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Wheatland Wyoming. My name is Jessica and well i'm 16 and have been with my boyfriend, josh, for 3 years. We both have been discusing getting married but my parents are really against it, acually my dads okay but my mom well thats another story. So basically what I am asking is, is there some way for me to get married without their consent? I really need to get out of my house and with Josh. I have a job and well we have a good place to live, he has a job to. So please please please I beg of you to help me find a way to be with him.

You need their consent.

Without their consent, you don't do squat.

I believe you can try to emancipate yourself, but then you have to prove you can completly support yourself without your parents or anyone else's help.

Wait 2 years, move out of your parents house, elope, then move into your trailer together!

You do know that most couples who got married while under the age of 18 have high standing of gettin a divorce within 5 years? Just becasue you see TV shows where 16 year olds are getting doesn't mean it's all going to work out.

If you got married, your parents would no longer be responsible for you. Meaning any money probleme you and your husband (boyfriend) would have to figure out on your own. That could be why dad is okay with it, if your married he no longer has to offer you any support.

Your mother is wise for not wanting you too. I suggest you listen to her and wait and see how this relationship works out.
