| | | Universal Life Church What is the name of your state? Indiana
I'm sorry if i posted this in the wrong place but it was the closest forum i could find. i was wondering if the universal Life Church ordanations(spelling?) are really legal? i would very much like to be married by a close freind who is not a member of any clergy and was told she could become ordanied for free by this company online. if she was to do so would it be a legally binding wedding?
thank you for your help. |

My response:
Sure. Joey Tribiani did it for Chandler Bing and Monica Geller, so your friend can do it too!

| | | You'd be in good company. There are a lot of people in this country who have been married by so-called ordained ministers of this sort. In any event, if you stay together long enough common law will come into play and you'll need not worry. |

| | | Opps! I stand corrected. And to think I could have gotten away with it when I lived in Indiana! |
