I've been told that in the state of NC, I have to have my wifes consent to have a vasotomy. However, she may have an abortion without my consent. I do not want to be a Father again, I'm in my mid 40's and my marriage is not at all stable. To bring another child into this world is out of the question in my mind. She wants another child. My questions are: 1) Is there anyway I can have a vasotomy without her consent legally. 2) If no legal means are available what happens if she finds out? What can she do about it? I'm at a point to where I am so fustrated with this mess, I am about to do it myself!
