verify a marriage

What is the name of your state? Texas

How can you verify a marriage between two other people?
in other words, if I wanted to find out if some is lying about just having been married, how could I do that?

Do you know where the alleged license was bought??
It’s public record.. Go to your courthouse where they purchased it or said they did and look it up..
