Question

what rights i have like wife if my husdband die?

I am married with an american citizen from Iowa where we live. I am a romanian citizen. We got married in USA. My husdbad have a daughter but he was never married with her mother and the girl have her motehr's family name. If my husdband die, what rights i have and what rights have his daughter if my husdband have no a will? The house where we live is shared with his mom in papers an also his mom have some money from his father how died and his name is on this money too. His mom made a will with 12 years ago, if her son (my husdnad) die before her, she let everything to her grandoughter. This was with 12 years before i married and i knew her son.

If there is no will, then his estate will be handled intestate (no will) according to the state succession laws.

Without knowing EXACTLY how his name is listed on the assets there is no way of knowing. Except that, at a minimum, the above will occur.

And it doesn't change a thing. If you are not named in Granny's will, then you aren't. Simple huh?
