whos responsible?

What is the name of your state? Florida

I am trying to find out some info regarding bills left after a person has deceased. My grandfather signed my grandmother into a nursing facility about 2 months ago he just died 2 weeks ago and we want to take my grandmother out of there her bills have not been paid while she has been there yet. What we are trying to find out is do we have to pay those bills? Or who is responsible for them ?

My response:

No, you don't have to pay the bills. The home will just put her in "lock down", chain her to her bed, and torture her until someone comes up with the money.

Is that really what you want to happen to good ol' granny?
