| | | | who's responsible my daughter and son-in-law were renting their home out. the house caught on fire and burned down. the gentleman had admitted to my kids and several others that he had fell asleep while deepfrying something on the stove and that the grease caught on fire esulting in the house burning down. He keeps insinuating that they should cover the losses of his belongings which he had in the house, but in fact, shouldn't be be the one responsible for burning the house down? he has admitted on several accasions that he fell asleep while cooking?

sincerely, hot in texas | Your posting on the wrong board.....but to sum it up, this is why it's vital that renters have renters insurance. If the tenants did not have renters insurance, they have totally lost their long lived belongings....Even if it wasn't their fault, they would not be reimbursed for their belongings without renters insurance.
