What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Maine.

My wife called the police on me saying I strangled her. Then 5 days later filed a pfa on me. She made false allegations against me also stating I told my 21 year old son said I was going to kill her and him. In court the police photos show no marks and my son testified he never stated the comments she said. Yet the judge still put the 2 year pfa on me. My lawyer said it probably isn't worth appealing. What do I do. I never did the things she accused me of. This is a ploy for her to get full custody. Please help me. Anymore advice.

Your problem is not with the law, but on the facts in this matter. The court found a factual basis for the order and issued it. Appealing on the facts, you would have to prove to an appellate court that no court could find what it did based on the evidence presented.

That is a very high burden.

I'd listen to your attorney unless you have the thousands necessary to overcome your burden. You will need a specialist if you decide to undertake the litigation.

So i am stuck..even though the evidence was there to show i never did what she said? Police photos of that night and next day show no marks and testimony stated she lied on PFA. I am out of work because of this now.

You lost your argument on the facts in court. You can ask the court for reconsideration if you'd like and you think they missed something, but don't hold your breath.
