Will not give back my dead sons property

KentuckyWhat is the name of your state?

I wanted to find out what I can do about my problem. My son was killed in a car accident 12 years ago, my only son. My brother ask me several years after my son died if he could take my sons gun to his house and clean it up. I told him that would be ok but I would wont it back. Well I ask for it back and he wont give it to me, he told me he had changes made to the gun and I would have to pay him 175.00 and come to his house to get it.My brother has a temper and I dont want to go to his house. I never told him to make any changes to my sons gun. I just want it back for sentimental reasons. What can I do? My brother lives in Kentucky.

Thanks
Carol

Sue him in Kentucky for the amount of damages you have suffered (that is, a dollar amount) and ask for the gun back.
