wills/family law

What is the name of your state? Texas

9/11/02 my aunt passed away. she had no living husband nor children. she left everything to her sister, my mother, and to her half sister. The half sister was executrix of the will due to the fact that my mother was recouperating from a broken hip. The likfe inurance was split down the middle. The sale of the house was split down the middle except for $10,000. 5,0000 of which is my mothers. The half sister says there were bills to pay but she doesnt produce bills nor receipts for where the $10,000 went. Does my mother have the right to know exactly where her $5,000 went? next question--there was a car that the half sister and my mother sold. Both the half sister and my mother agreed upon the selling price of $2,000. They hand wrote the sell on a peice of paper of which I have a copy. the paper list the half sister and my mother as lein holder. The purchaser agreed to pay $100 per month, $50 to the half sister and $50 to my mother. when the half sister went down to the registration office with the purchaser she told the clerk that the car sold for $200 and that there was no lein(which we did not know at the time). So my mother has received $100 since Jan and the half sister says she recieved $50. The title is now in the purchaser name. Can we still make her pay? ALso is there anything we can do about the half sister not telling the truth to the registration office? next question-- the will does say that the executrix can be paid for his/her service. while the half sister stayed here in Texas for 3 months to get the house sold she used the procedes from a continuing garage sale to pay her living expenses. My mother did not receive one penny from the garage sale items. Should that have been split? next question---- some of the items in the house were valuable and the half sister just gave to whoever she wanted like cousins , etc. without consulting my mother. Does my mother have any rights where that is concerned? We've all tried to keep peace about this but the halft sister is acting too secretive she lives in California. Oh we all did get some things from the house but we paid for it in the garage sale. ANy help on this would be greatly appreciated. If my mother has any rights could you please instruct us as to what to do next thank you
