The X girlfriend from hell

I live in PA. "Nasty breakup"
Me and my girlfriend broke up several months ago, the house was in our name and I bought her out. We had no kids together but played house for 4yrs. Over the course of that time we bought 2 dogs, at the time of separation she wanted the newest dog so I gave it to her(at that time the dog was not registered so she did that with AKC) The older dog was fully registered in my name and I kept him. So!!!!!
Months later I get an email saying she will take me to court for:
1-DUI expenses paid from her account for me "when we were together"
2-child support paid too my children's mom from her account.
Unless I give her my dog!!!
When I worked I deposited my check in her account all the time and all bills were paid from her account because I had some banking problems.
We had no verbal or written agreement for repayment because that was before she left me, and obviously we thought we would be together.
So my question is can she get my dog and make me pay for the above listed expenses?
Thanks and I should be getting her bullcrap paperwork for court soon...

Well the email did not say word for word but it was implied that this would go away if I gave her the dog.
I just got another E-mail from her saying we are going to court, I lost my job after she left and I can't afford an attorney so what do I do?

I THINK that what they are saying is that her chances of winning a lawsuit against you are not good.

Here's a question: Can you prove that your paychecks were deposited into her account? I think she is just bluffing anyway. When are you expecting to get the paperwork from her attorney?

What I think you should do is wait and see if she really files anything or not. I don't know how much money is involved, but if it ends up being a small claims case, then you won't need one for sure.

I doubt she will find an attorney that is willing to take the case on contingency....and I doubt that she is going to want to pay a retainer to an attorney to try to go after you.

NO I can't...... It is her account, I am sure she will be selective in what bank paperwork she brings. I presume within the next 3 weeks since the wheels of justice our slow.
I am going to BLOCK all further E-mails from her? Is that wise? I assure you I will not let her bait me to slander or whatever but I don't want the hassle. Is that wise?

If she is selective about what paperwork she brings, then don't you think they will notice?

People threaten lawsuits all the time and then they don't do anything. They just want to scare the person they are having a conflict with.

You said you would be getting the "bullcrap paperwork" soon. Let us know if it arrives.

You said you deposited your checks into her account "when you worked". Did you work throughout the duration of the relationship, or just some of the time?
