What is the name of your state?washington
I had my both big toes fused at the MTP Joint 12 Months ago, Right foot is OK. but left foot is not, Problem is Toes were to be set at 10%, Slighty tilted up Just touching the ground on a normal stance, Left Toe You can place your little finger under it and does not touch grond while walking, It also is rubbing against the second toe, it has thown my left side out of wack.
I have cut back my workload from 8-10 hours a day down to 3-4 hours a day. And having problems with that, I have spent over $ 1000 on boots and shoes and orthodontics inserts, but at this stage no luck,
I have just been to see another Specialist He wants me to try more padding under my feet but feels the only way to fix it is to operate again, only this time he has to cut thru the bone and try to reset it Some of the nerves are damaged already and there is a high risk more damage will be done, It is Much bigger operation than the first with no guarantees, as he said with a joint Fusion you get it right the first time or there are big problems after that
There were also problems after the operation I had 4 Pins inserted to stay in place for good 1 pin went so far in he drilled two toes together in all the 4 pins had to be removed each one with its own problem,
The short of it dose this doctor have any sort of a case to answer???
