Can I sue?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

I took a fall in 02 and Started going to this ortho dr. Since then I had carpal tunnel surgery, staple in wrist, plate in wrist with screws and reconstruction on shoulder. I was also having neck pain and had an MRI done last oct. Two weeks after i returned to dr for him to say I have herniated discs in my cervical spine and degenerative disc disease. That cortizone shots would be the next route prior to surgery. I then got new coverage and he didn't accept my plan. I went back in March of this year (paying cash for visit). And the first thing he asked was how was the lump in my throat doing? Shocked I asked, "What lump?" His response word for word, "Didnt they tell you at the MRI place?" (which being a CMA I knew that they were not allowed to give out information.). I said I thought you were supposed to tell me. He said nope they are. And told me I should see my PCP. When I went to my PCP, (who I hate), I told him about the conversation and he said ABSOLUTELY NOT the DR is supposed to relay that information to you. Anyway, now I called the ortho last week to let them know my insurance would cover them out of network that he had to fill out a form online for payment. I called today and was told "He refuses to fill out the form and I should find another doctor." I find this quite suspicious since im going there for so long, I wasn't a "problem patient", now since the information wasn't given to me he no longer wants to see me. Something is not right. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

I assume you have since gotten a copy of your MRI report and taken it to your PCP and addressed whatever problem needed addressing?
