| DO I have a case? Giant Cell Tumor misdiagnosis What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Illinois
I started having pain about 2 years ago and went to the doctor to get help he pushed on my back and made me touch my toes, sent me on my way with naproxen and told me I had sciatica. He told me to go to physical therapy. A year later I wake up unable to stand after on and off pain for a full year. I was admitted to the hospital for a month and a half and they found out the first day that I had a tumor the size of a grapefruit on my sacrum that crushed through my sacrum and damaged my tailbone. I was unable to stand walk or sit for a full year before the tumor was removed and then grew back. I am still seeking treatment on this with a totally new set of doctors in Chicago, IL at Rush University Medical Center.
My question is: What can be done? That first doctor didn't send me to see any other doctors, he prescribed me vicodin over the phone a year into the on and off pain. Is there anythign I can do? I ask because my brother keeps asking me to do something. |
